Annemarie and Philip were married at St. Mary’s Church in Quincy, Mass. followed by a reception at Atlantica in Cohasset, Mass. on October 25. Annemarie looked fabulous in a satin strapless A-line gown with her hair donned in an updo and accented with a braided headband. She accessorized with a three-strand pearl necklace and carried a bouquet of coral-orange dahlias, blue hydrangeas, ivory roses, orange waxflower, thistle, and brunia berries. Her ‘maids opted for strapless satin floor-length navy blue gowns, while the groom and his men donned gray three-piece suits and matching navy blue neck ties. The pair exchanged vows in a traditional church ceremony in front of 150 family and friends. A reception followed at a venue nestled right on the shoreline. “Phil is a merchant marine and I have an infatuation with all things nautical. We naturally went with a nautical theme,” Annemarie said of their wedding inspiration. The reception featured items such as a nautical card box and a wooden sign displaying an anchor motif and the couple’s wedding date and last name. Guests sat at tables with white linens, and featured little blue boats complete with arrangements of gerber daisies, waxflower, and hydrangeas. “The flowers, centerpieces and boutonnieres were hands down my favorite wedding accent,” Annemarie said. Friends and family enjoyed dinner as well as a three-tier white fondant cake with navy blue ribbon accents and a monogram. Annemarie recommends couples try to keep a cool head while planning. “Planning gets chaotic, things go wrong, but you still get to spend forever with your husband, what is better than that?” See the full board here.
