Lauren and Drew were married at the groom’s parents home along the Severn River in Annapolis, Md. last spring. “We truly felt that our wedding day was not just a celebration of each other, but also for everyone who made us into the couple we are today,” Lauren said. The bride wore a v-neck mermaid wedding gown with a beaded bodice and tulle skirt, accessorized with a floral wreath in her sideswept ponytail, while the groom wore a navy blue suit, accessorized with a striped tie and pair of Sperry Top-Sider boat shoes. Bridesmaids wore short coral dresses in various fabrics and carried bouquets of hydrangeas. Believe it or not — Lauren arrived to the ceremony on a boat — and 220 guests were in attendance when the couple said their, “I do’s.” Afterwards, a bagpiper led the recessional into the tent. Tables were decorated with gray linens and tall floral centerpieces, signature spiked lemonade and watermelon mojito cocktails and seafood fare were served, and crab mallet favors were at each place setting. There even was fun, games, (and candy) for the kids! Notice the goodie bags? A long night of dancing with provided flip flops ended with a sparkler send off and safe travels to their African safari honeymoon. See the full board here.
